TikTok

Most of the project’s social media will likely be on Tiktok. All sorts of videos can be posted on there. I would like to do some POV shots where Mitton can record while in the stands or at a winter guard performance. I also think some “Day in the Life” 3-minute Tiktoks would be nice. I would also like to do some countdown videos so Mitton can record how she’s feeling each day as the audition camps get closer. She could give advice to others who are considering drum corps. With all of the popular trends on Tiktok right now the possibilities are really endless as Mitton and her journey fit perfectly with the kind of stories that are popular on the app.

Instagram

This platform will probably be used for some videos and photos of her performing and practicing. I could also do some teaser content, especially on Instagram stories to get some hype before the website launches.

Twitter can be used for updates and countdowns. She can post when she gets to her first drum corps camp, how she’s feeling when she first gets there, etc. Prospective drum corps members will appreciate a walk-through of what it’s like and how it feels.
